Food is a Universal Language

Day 89:Thailand

Today was a planning day.  We are preparing to meet our mom and her boyfriend in a couple of months as well as the rest of our trip.  Besides planning, our day pretty munch revolved around amazing food.  We started out with Panang Curry for lunch.  After lunch we did some more planning and went in search of dinner a few hours later.  We found a Chinese restaurant and sat down.  We reviewed the menu which consisted of duck, duck, more duck and pigeon.  When we saw pigeon, we promptly stood up and headed to the roti restaurant we had spotted around the corner.  We had roti for dinner and dessert.

We split up tomorrow and I have an early flight, so we went back to the apartment to pack.  The next few weeks are going to be interesting traveling by myself.  I am excited and nervous all at the same time.  I’m not nervous because I’m scared to travel by my self.  I’m nervous because I know that I will be addicted and never want to stop.

Tomorrow, I head to Phuket and Brian is going to Bangkok.  We may meet on Koh Phi Phi in a few days, but only for a night or two.  Then we will be apart until the end of the month.  We will meet again in Amsterdam.

Food

wherever you are

Food is something that brings the world together. Each culture has its own traditions and favorite foods. As a self proclaimed foodie, I was so excited to try cuisines in the countries they originated in. During my travels, I have discovered and will undoubtedly continue to discover culinary treasures around the globe. I am honored to share with you, My Elephant Tribe, the amazing meals I have enjoyed throughout the world.
