Food is something that brings the world together. Each culture has its own traditions and favorite foods. As a self proclaimed foodie, I was so excited to try cuisines in the countries they originated in. During my travels, I have discovered and will undoubtedly continue to discover culinary treasures around the globe. I am honored to share with you, My Elephant Tribe, the amazing meals I have enjoyed throughout the world.
Day 65: Colombia
We finally found the post office. We had so much to ship. It took forever to ship everything. After 3 hours, $200 US and sweating our asses off due to no A/C or fans we decided we needed a snack.
We saw a cafe with a sign for churros so we couldn't resist. Obviously! They ended up being fancy churros. They were circles and an ice cream sandwich. What?!
After our snack we made lunch reservations for tomorrow at El Santisimo it is a really popular restaurant and reservations are needed. We went back to Abacos before dinner.
Today was a pretty relaxed day. We didn’t do much, but it was great. We went back to Marzola for dinner. Again, it did not disappoint.
We decided to call it early so we could finish our laundry and start packing. Which ended up being a disaster. The dryer was not working. It was literally taking 3 or 4 cycles to dry our clothes completely. Needless to say it was a long night.
