Food is something that brings the world together. Each culture has its own traditions and favorite foods. As a self proclaimed foodie, I was so excited to try cuisines in the countries they originated in. During my travels, I have discovered and will undoubtedly continue to discover culinary treasures around the globe. I am honored to share with you, My Elephant Tribe, the amazing meals I have enjoyed throughout the world.
Day 66: Colombia & ?
After continuing to fight with the dryer, we went to El Santisimo for lunch. It did not disappoint. It was one of our best meals in Colombia by far. However, after lunch we had to head back to finish packing.
As per usual, we were running late. We actually scared the housekeeper. When we finally made it out the door we headed the airport for our longest day of travel yet. Today we had the first two of four total flights until we reach our destination.
Our first flight was back to Bogota. From there we headed to Dallas. Somewhere between the two flights we realized that we completely screwed up the time zones and check in dates. So we had to contact our AirBNB host to correct the problem. We were grateful that they didn’t charge us for the mistake.
I will be so happy when we make it to our final destination for this leg of the journey. Today was exhausting.
